The BMW iX3 is the first model of the Neue Klasse, marking a bold step into the future of design, technology, and driving dynamics. Far more than an evolution, it represents the beginning of a new generation of vehicles that combine innovation, sustainability, and unmistakable BMW character.
A new electronics and software architecture including four “superbrain” high-performance computers makes the first Neue Klasse model more intelligent and better equipped for the future than ever. The “Heart of Joy” drivetrain and driving dynamics management technology enables unmatched handling dynamism and precision, while the latest systems for automated driving optimise symbiotic human-vehicle interaction. The BMW iX3 achieves a range of up to 805 km (WLTP). Ultra-fast charging delivers up to 372 km of range in ten minutes, while two motors produce 345 kW/469 hp and accelerate the vehicle from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.
Design-wise, the iX3 strikes a balance between elegance and strength. A vertical illuminated kidney grille, flush door handles, and up to 22” wheels define its strong presence. New colours like Ocean Wave Blue metallic emphasise its progressive look, while the panoramic sunroof with climate glazing creates an airy cabin. Inside, premium materials, multifunction seats with massage, and refined ambient lighting deliver comfort for all passengers.
The BMW Panoramic iDrive introduces a new digital era with a 43.3” Panoramic Vision display across the windscreen, complemented by a 17.9” Central Display. Together with BMW Operating System X and the Intelligent Personal Assistant enhanced by Alexa technology, the interior becomes intuitive, personalised, and seamlessly connected. Shy Tech steering wheel controls, an optional 3D Head-Up Display and streaming apps turn the cabin into a connected, entertainment-rich environment.
Everyday versatility is equally impressive and will include also a 58-litre front compartment made from recycled materials. The iX3 features new bidirectional charging functions turning it into a mobile energy hub.
